The most striking observation, is the lack of equality with respect to witness accounts of the allegations made against Judge Kavanaugh. One of the cornerstone of Progressive politics has been the insistence of equal rights when it comes to women. Time and time again, the American people are accused of engaging in the unequal treatment of women in every aspect of life.

Equality is, however, a two-way street. We have, quite possibly, the most public example of the true unequal distribution of power within the court of public opinion. Namely, we are witnessing the enormous power that women have to destroy the lives and careers of men with a single accusation. If we are expected to take the accusations of Professor Ford seriously, then we should also take the witness accounts of the event seriously.

Thus far, the only person involved in this 36 year old incident that claims it took place is the accuser herself:

Eric Bruce, who is representing Smyth, authored a letter to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, the top Democrat on the committee. CNN has obtained a copy of the letter, which includes a quote from Smyth denying seeing any “improper conduct” from Kavanaugh.

“I understand that I have been identified by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford as the person she remembers as ‘PJ’ who supposedly was present at the party she described in her statements to the Washington Post,” Smyth says in his statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee. “I am issuing this statement today to make it clear to all involved that I have no knowledge of the party in question; nor do I have any knowledge of the allegations of improper conduct she has leveled against Brett Kavanaugh.”

So “PJ” joins the ranks with Mark Judge who have both addressed statements to the Judicary Committee stating they have no memory of the alleged incident taking place. The question is how many witnesses have to deny these events before they equal the weight of a single accuser? How many positive character witnesses are necessary to overrule a single accusation of criminal behavior?

Perhaps the even better question is how many woman defending a Conservative’s character does it take to equal a single woman accusing of criminal behavior? According to the Daily Mail, 65 isn’t enough unless it takes you a long time to amass it.

Debra Messing and Patricia Arquette have slammed the Senate Judiciary after it released a letter from 65 women in support of Brett Kavanaugh.

The women signed a letter to defend the Supreme Court nominee after Sen Dianne Feinstein revealed a woman accused him of trying to sexually assault her in he 1980s.

The letter, which was released just a day after the allegations were made public by Feinstein, immediately raised eyebrows.

‘#BrettKavanaugh went to an all boys high school. Interesting how quickly you got 65 names,’ Messing tweeted on Friday.

‘It’s almost as though you KNEW about this accusation of sexual assault and tried to hide it. But got prepared with names JUST IN CASE.’

The Daily Mail

So it seems women are not equal even when it comes to the defense of the accused. We’re supposed to dismiss a statement made and signed by 65 women on the account that such a statement was created too quickly. The part that made me laugh the loudest is the accusation that it isn’t possible this statement is true, because Kavanaugh went to an all-boys school!

Did any of these sleuths ever stop to wonder how Kavanaugh could have came into contact with Ford, based on their argumentation? Simply because Kavanaugh attended an all-boys school clearly did not prevent him from having contact with women. After all, if their logic was true, this entire situation should never have happened!

The fact remains that, despite the proclaimed principles of equality with respect to women, Progressives in Washington decide who has credibility based not only on their victim status, but also whether or not they support the accused. Christine Ford stands alone in her accusation, with an imperfect memory and seriously suspicious timing of her appearance. Democrats have a history of this exact same behavior, and we have an accuser who is not only a far-left political activist, but is represented by a lawyer connected with organizations opposing Kavanaugh’s nomination.

But we know the truth, don’t we. Democrats only care about Christine Ford because she is a useful instrument in the delay or destruction of Kavanaugh’s confirmation. The timing of her arrival was orchestrated like every other political October Surprise. Democrats seek to delay this confirmation by any means necessary, and then should they win a majority in November, demand the new Congress have the final say. They will reject any evidence that protects Kavanaugh and embrace any evidence that condemns him.

The truth is when you’re a Progressive, some animals are more equal than others.
